No, I un-did the system restore from yesterday that fucked it up in the first place causing the blue-screen, restart bullshit. Since it was undone, I was able to open in regular mode. That's how I burned it all.

Also, I found out that a flash drive would not have worked either because none of the extras work in safe mode.

Well, I have everything except the office on a disc. My Mom is bringing me a 4gig dvd dics I can put it on. After that, I'm gonna call and have them help me do the "restore to day 1" as they called it. But yeah, I got all my important papers and pictures on dicsc. I'm not worried about the music, I'll just download more later. Thanks a lot for your help!

if you got that USB flash drive you can just copy the Office image to it and when your computer is back up and running you can download WinISO and 'burn' the image on a virtual disc (temp hard drive space) and install from that
