good first half. with a few minutes left in the first half we only had 3 turnovers.

we did a lot better at rebounding.

sid improved on his substitutions. good to see simon harris out there, hustling on every play. same for horner who got lots of minutes. not the fastest kid with his feet but he usually makes up for it with heart. good to see reduction in costner's minutes.

gavin and jj are still awesome (minus gavin's free throws, wtf)

definitely an improvement over what we've seen so far this season.

but of course, like everyone's said, we still don't have that killer instinct. we should have beaten them by forty but let them back into the game instead.

I don't see why we don't push the ball more during transition. We seem to do pretty good when we don't stop and take 25 seconds passing the ball around. And if we can't play defense . . . then just run and outscore them

I thought Horner played fairly well this game.. he may not be the best defender but he can hit down the midrange jumper and he hustles which this team really needs

It was good to see a lot of new faces in the regular rotation, Simon Harris hustles harder than anybody on the team, he knows he's got to want it bad to stay out on the floor. I wish costner would learn a thing or two, he still mosey'd around an awful lot and often didn't even contest shots that his guy was making...

but I did see much more of an effort from the whole team that we've seen since the tourney
