anyone ever listen to mike and mike in the morning? i've picked it up a few times and it's horrendous.

why the fuck do they rehash the same topics they talked about an hour before. and it's not even like they bring some new information or a new take either. they literally same the same shit they said an hour ago. it's like they restart the show every hour.

i realize people are probably listening in their cars on the way to work and so they only catch a little here and there, but come on

There are only a few big topics per day to talk about in the world of sports, so you have to revisit the things you talked about at 6:15am, once again at 9:15am...

^^ yeah, its horrible. And I hate shits that are intentionally controversial like Cowherd, but Greenberg is SOOOO damn vanilla and just follows the company line, its horrible. ONLY thing they have going for them is they get big time interviews but then they just kiss their ass the whole time

^^you are right that its like the local news broadcast. but it shouldnt be. those are three 30 minute separate shows, so it makes complete sense that they do the same stories.

the radio program is 4 hours long. what they do is essentially what local news shows are. instead of a 4 hour radio program, Mike and Mike are 4 one hour programs, which is dumb, IMO. there is plenty to talk about. i don't need to hear their take on tom brady, VERBATIM, that i heard 1 hour ago
