I have 4 holes in one ear, 2 in the other ear, I haven't really worn earrings in the past two or three years, and the holes are still there just waiting for me to put something in them.

Nipple piercings are also supposed to close up fairly quickly, but I've had mine out for nearly 9 months and I can still get a ring in them if I wanted to.

The only piercings that I've had that I can no longer get a ring in are my tongue and eyebrow.

i have my left earlobe pierced, but it's transverse instead of traditional...meaning it goes through the lobe "long ways." You can sortof see the back of it in this pic, the front ball is concealed by the beard/jaw



not real flashy or anything, but definitely a nice accent and everybody loves it. almost every day i get someone going "whooa! turn your head, how is that...whoa, i've never seen that before. cool. i'll have a jack and coke."

not telling you to get what i did, i might have to kick your ass, but don't let these dorks tell you getting one ear done is faux pas. It's all about how you wear it and what you do with it. If you're not the pretty boy type, having both done would be kinda retarded. If you are, go for it. Chances are decent though that you'll find piercing addicting and will have at least one or two more done in the following months anyway

I recommend Autumn at Warlock's or the people at Progress for anything beyond the standard mall-kiosk ear piercing.

Please don't get a mall ear piercing, you'll be so much happier in a studio. I'm against using the gun to pierce.

They'll even show you some different options for piercings and jewelry if you haven't made your mind up. But like someone has already said, you'll likely find yourself addicted to the chair and go back for more.

Unfortunately, I don't have good piercing recommendations for the Raleigh area. All of my piercings were done in Greenville.

i second autumn at warlocks.. if archie is still piercing he did my septum at blue flame, but i'm pretty sure he's not there anymore though.

^^autumn at warlocks is awesome. i got stupid mall piercings and they got really messed up, so i went to warlocks. she helped me out majorly - she changed them to cbrs and just got them calmed down like woah. so yeah, i'd recommend her, she's great.
