the eclipse scythe works well on the mechs along with ninpo. its powerful enough to knock them back or stun them.

Just finished playing a bit of this game, and I'm thrilled that the Izuna Drop is still my bread and butter. Can't wait to see what chapter 3 and beyond hold.

That shit took me a good number of tries.

I used a combo of the phoenix ninpo and charged attacks (Y).

It just sucked having to battle through all of those beetles every time you die.

Im playing on warrior:

I focused on one dragon first which made the second one easier. Also you dont have to aim the arrows for the little dragons. Just jump around and shoot until they die.

There is a part in chp. 10 where there are so many guys surrounding you the game starts to lag...its crazy.

Working on chapter 13 right now.

All of those are a "complete the game using only the ___ weapon" acheivement

They seriously expect people to play through EIGHT times to unlock those?

Seems like the same thing they pulled in ME with the "complete the game with ____ sidekick" crap

Yes, there is a savegame + mode in which you keep everything from your last playthrough.

Honestly, the achievements don't bother me so much. I certainly don't intend to play through to get each of them, as I'll be happy with just the Dragon Sword Master achievement. I tend to pick a single weapon and stick with it all the way through. I may give the Talons or the tonfas a go on the second time through.

There are a several scenes (in warrior mode) that are VERY FRICKIN HARD

i really don't want a challenging game that has nothing but action. i like challenging games that involve puzzle elements, upgrading options, the story in integral to how you play it, and it has a good camera. by all means, this is a good game, however its really not that enjoyable to me, at least at the moment. i liked ngb a lot, but i think i am thorough with this series, but i might rent it like i said.

this game is really fun, but sometimes it makes me want to punch the developers right in the face. the camera is tolerable at best and downright shitty most of the time, and any time i have to use the bow i just wanna kill myself instead. i still keep playing though because it's really fun to see your enemies getting sliced to pieces

Well, I'm convinced now that this game really is not any fun. I was enjoying it OK right up until you fight Fagra Dai, and then everything just turns completely gay. I'm killed more often than not by the camera than anything else. I am still determined to beat it just once, and then I'll probably never touch it again. It's just not as good as the first one by a far cry.
