That was a very awesome ending. I'm glad I decided last night to drive over to Daytona today and get a ticket it was a lot of fun. A good showing for Kahne, hopefully GEM can keep it up this season and he and Sadler can get at least a few wins. I still like the Coke 600 better overall but there's nothing like the last 40 laps or so of a restrictor plate race!

I don't like stewart or either of the busch brothers. I would've liked to see what the hendrick team could do today but it wasn't in the cards... jr still finished pretty well. he definitely showed some wear though and got played by tony the second time he stayed out!

I am sure the error of not being able to hit pit road (he was past the commitment cone and radio traffic kept Eury from telling him to come to pit road) probably cost Jr the win.

i just hate how the cautions are like with 3 laps left and everyone has to restart and all that, its hard for anyone to move up, especially in these restrictor plate races

the good thing is with the COT it seems there are a LOT less spin outs and such from taps, it wiggles and wobbles but it wont fall down

I don't know that I saw any of the COT races last year, but my first impression is "damn they are fast"

When Jr. hooked up with Stewart on the bump draft with about 20 laps to go they were flying to the front.. someone tried to block and they were running up on him so fast he got spun out by Stewart

Pretty good article on why I can't bear to watch NASCAR any more. The author doesn't really come out and say that it sucks, he covers it from a pretty unbiased point of view, but it covers why I think it has lost it's soul:
