charlotte is such a shitty host and this has been the worst tournament I can remember in a long time while last years was the best. Should have at least left it in Tampa. Great host, Florida in March/spring break and every game was a thriller with like 3 overtime games. But if you were gonna move it go somewhere new. Charlotte has nothing special to offer except a nice arena. DC, Boston, Miami, and even Orlando would all be better options. Especially Miami, wow I couldn't imagine.

but i think from the standpoint of where can the ACC bring in the most fans and media attention, by far you have to stay in NC.

florida is poison to the ACC when it comes to drawing fans.

but anyway, if you can't find some fun shit to do in downtown charlotte then you're not even leaving your hotel room i guess

the court at the arena looks horrible. every other conference tourny ive seen has a nice logo in the center of the court, and actually does a decent job of blending the conference logo and name with similar colors on the court.

charlotte just has a huge blue square in the middle and blue rectangles on the end lines. it looks like they just put them in as an afterthought.

i know that doesnt have any effect on the games, but it still just looks tacky and cheap.

I doubt Boston would be a good place for the ACC Tourney. I don't think it could compete with high school hockey in the area..

So I'm guessing the tournament next year will be at the Georgia Dome just like the SEC this year?? Always wondered why they never used Philips Arena. If it's anything like Charlotte Bobcats Arena, I'm guessing it's pretty small or tight for big tournaments like these.
