NCSU fan when I came here, oldest sister graduated 10 years before I did....other sister graduated rom UNC but oldest sister got me and my bro to be State fans. I wasnt really going to go to NCSU and if I had stuck with my major in that I decided on(and switched back to once at State) I would of never went to NCSU

Nope I was a Duke fan until I got my acceptance letter to NCSU and after that the rest is history. I still pull for my Buffaloes and Gonzaga...but crazy ass Wolfpacker here..

was born in Michigan, had 2 grandparents, 2 parents, and 1 great-aunt and 2 aunts who went to UofM....so Michigan was the only college program I liked until I came to NC State. Lived in CH for about 10 years before coming to State too (went to grade school with all those smug bastards), so I knew I hated UNC, i just didn't learn to love State until '01.

I grew up a Georgia fan, mainly in football. I wasn't hard core about any basketball teams until I got to State. I also rooted for FSU just because I hate Florida almost as much as I now hate UNC.

Being born and raised in Los Angeles has its perks. UCLA basketball and USC football. It's fun to sit on both sides of that fence. But mom went to UNC so I definitely hated Dook... and to spite the woman, I hated UNC as well. Fuck em both. Pops went to UVA so I hate those faggots too. Loved State when I came to visit and never looked back.

no...unfortunately I was raised to be a UNC fan as a child.

but by high school I started developing a dislike and applied only to state.

but everyone in my family is a ridiculously huge UNC fan and never supports NCSU, even though they are pretty much a bunch of rednecks who never went to college. Sad times.

There should be a law that says only UNC students, graduates, staff, and high school seniors that have been accepted into UNC may be fans. UNC dropouts must support either Duke or State.
