I should probably point out that all science begins with theory. 3/14/2008 3:46:56 PM |

You don't have a clue what a theory is in scientific terms do you
Science begins with a hypothesis which is NOT a theory...theories develop from building on multiple hypotheses
Every time you post you show how little you understand about science 3/14/2008 3:55:19 PM |

No, actually I didn't state theory as in formulating a scientific theory. I used the word theory in the general sense.

There can be no science done of the scientist doesn't formulate a theory on any given observation which makes all science, really, theoretical outside the scope of scientific law. Of which, just so you know, there are very few.
This is taught in elementary school, by the way.

excuses excuses...scientists don't say 'theory' when they really mean 'hypothesis'
oh and also, real scientists don't cite dictionaries...just more proof that you know jack shit about science

formulate a HYPOTHESIS...keep it up though, all the people who know science are laughing at you

Yes
Scientists certainly don't cite sources.
and the hypothesis of evolution is a farce.
Tke-Teg, ok sure we'll continue the discussion in 50 years. 3/14/2008 9:11:23 PM |

its funny to see people try and save face when they realize they fuck up
relativity must have started off as just a theory and evolved into a...
oh yeah, scientists do cite sources (maybe not theoretical scientists)...but they don't cite dictionaries to try and fake their way into knowing what a scientific term means] 3/14/2008 9:15:29 PM |

Nice.
You cited relativity.
A theory born of thought experiments.
Good job on proving my point. 3/14/2008 9:21:29 PM |
