If nobody takes the remaining 3 teams by tonight, I'll take them, and we can start the draft.

The Miami Dolphins go back in time and STILL can't get rid of the first pick. With this in mind they select Jake Long, OL, Michigan with the first overall pick in the 2008 TWW Mock Draft. The Dolphins have a lot of needs and this one addresses one of those.

They feel that they are able to get Long into camp earlier than some of the other options and so that would push Long over the top. It will give a solid blocker for Ronnie Brown to run behind and someone to protect whoever ends up under center this year for the Dolphins.

With the 2nd pick STL selects Chris Long - DE, UVA

STL is sitting pretty at #2, DE is their biggest need and they'll fill that need with a great player in this draft. Leonard Little is about done and their D-Line was in such disarray last year that they started experimenting with the 3-4 just so they could put one less crappy player out there. Long will immediately improve their sorry excuse for a pass rush and will flourish along side Adam Carriker for years to come.

An interesting pick would be Dorsey here, which would allow for the aforementioned Carriker to move back outside. That pick would limit their ability to switch to a 3-4 in the future though, which isn't an issue with Long. It will also be interesting(and very possible) if I'm wrong about MIA taking Jake Long. STL has a big need at OT given the shortcomings of Orlando Pace(durability) and Alex Barron(he sucks), but I think they might take Ghoulson for all the reasons they want Chris Long. In fact Ghoulston had such a freak nasty combine that they may take him over Chris Long if they're both on the board.

With the third pick in the 2008 NFL draft, the Atlanta Falcons select Glenn Dorsey, DT from LSU

The Falcons will fill a major need on the defensive line with a player who could become a franchise player for years to come. Matt Ryan has been the popular pick for the Falcons here, but in all likelihood they can land similar talent in the second round in Brian Brohm or Joe Flacco.

Gholston, Ohio State, DE. McFadden is good, but Fargas impressed me. Sapp retired. DE moving over to DT to take Sapp's place. Hole for Gholston.

With the 5th pick, the Kansas City Chiefs select QB Matt Ryan, Boston College

After ranking dead last in the league in points (14.1) and total yards (276.8) and 20th in passing yards (198.8) under QB Damon Huard, the Chiefs are looking to revamp the offense starting from the top, the QB position. With names like Huard (11 TD's, 13 INT's, 2257 yrds) and Croyle (6 TD's, 6 INT's, 1227 yrds), Kansas City is looking for the big arm to get the offense back on track.

with the 8th pick in the 2008 draft, the Baltimore Ravens begrudgingly select Matt Ryan, QB BC

Baltimore was really hoping he was off the board so that they wouldnt have to take him. He will give Jim Harbaugh a QB prospect to groom and watch suck ass like Kyle Boller.

KC needs a lot of help in general with their offense. I just thought they needed something as far as offensive production, not pocket protection. I don't know how many times Damon Huard or Brodie Croyle hit the turf last year or were hurried, but being dead last in points and total yards, something drastic has to be done. I know that Croyle was picked up just maybe a year or two.

WITH THE 8th pick in the 2008 NFL draft, the Baltimore Ravens select LEODIS McKELVIN, CB, Troy

Thanking the heavens that Matt Ryan was already selected when they chose him, the baltimore ravens shore up an aging secondary with the top cover corner in the draft. McKelvin could likely come in and start right away.

He suits me fine for the panthers at #13, the cheifs need a run blocking RT more than a zone blocking LT like Clady

If they're smart they'll wait till round two and take Carl Nicks or Anthony Collins. Or they could trade down in the first and take Jeff Otah.

With the 10th pick in the 2008 NFL Draft, the New Orleans Saints select Keith Rivers, LB, USC

their defense was horrid last season and they need someone to anchor their D/fill in for Dan Morgan when he gets hurt

but he's injured almost as much as morgan

still, I dont think they draft a round 1 LB after two big free agent signings

Morgan and Vilma are both MLBs, Rivers would be a good pick to replace Scott Fujita.

Otherwise, CB all the way - but they can get someone good in the 2nd or 3rd

Bills take either Jenkins or Devin Thomas here. Especially considering in his workout 2 days ago Malcolm Kelly's 4.73 and 4.68 ran him out of the 1st round.

the bills 2 biggest needs are wr & cb, but since taking a wr here would be too much of a reach, i see them going cb

if they are able to overlook the simple fact that talib smoked pot, then they take him, but otherwise it will be mike jenkins out of usf

following mcgahee's antics, i see them playing it safe and going with cb mike jenkins out of usf w/ the 11th pick of the draft
