1) Maybe you could have looked better with short hair, but not that short. See pic of Kristin Cavallari 4 posts above yours. That length is nice.
2) In those 2 pics, the long hair wins out by far.
3) The color of the long hair is very beautiful and elegant.
4) The color of the short hair is HAWT.

Although it has been proven that some girls can do the short hair look, pretty much all girls look just as good if not alot better if the hair is shoulder level or longer. It all depends on the girl, I know it when I see it.

I think alot of it has to do with touch, and guys (being the tactile creatures that we are) would prefer to run their hand through a nice long head of hair more than a short one.

BTW, is it really fair to compare your short-hair pic, which looks like a glamour shot, with the long-hair pic, which was obviously a spur-of-the-moment shot? The answer is self-evident--and even though it wasn't a "professional" photo, I still like the long-hair pic better.

note: the casual look of the long hair photo is attractive to guys, more so than lights, makeup, "glamour" etc.

so a casual photo with short hair would be a better comparison, anyway

well my opinion doesn't matter because i'm a girl...BUT

i think she looks adorable either way...

she is very classically and naturally pretty with the longer hair...and has a tremendous smile by the way...

and the short hair is cute and funky...

at first i was like "why the hell would anybody dye their hair that color"...because i see it a lot and it's just so unnatural...

but then i looked at it a little longer and thought "damn...i actually wish I could pull off a color like that"...

just because she has make up and something besides i tank top on does not a glamour shot make....if you photochop everything out of the picture but the face they look EXACTLY the same....even the pose is the same...
