the hawks are the worst passing team I've ever seen. That includes any pickup games. It's not that they don't try to pass the ball. You can can just tell they are uncomfortable doing it and so they either turn it over or end up taking a bad shot

Blowout win in Cleveland, with the team hitting on all cylinders

followed immediately by

ugly, turnover-prone crapfest on the road

i guess maybe nobody is watching tonight, or else they're not watching near a computer

but the Sixers took it to Detroit...Philly up 2-1 with Game 4 in Philly

San Antonio up 14 starting the 2nd half versus Phoenix...Parker with 19 and 7 in the first half

Dallas took their first home game to cut the Hornets series to 2-1 New Orleans

parkers obviously got duncan and ginobli and popovich, among others, which helps any point guard

but he also has a couple rings and he's only 25 years old, not a whole lot older than paul and williams

we'll see what kind of hardware paul and deron have after the playoffs are over

parker is also underrated because he plays with duncan and ginobli and a team that was good before he got there so he's not in the spotlight like a paul

they're all really great point guards, but the fact that you say deron and paul would take him to the shed proves how underrated parker is...he also had 41 points and 12 assists tonight, all the while making 2 time mvp steve nash look like a bush league point guard

parker might not even be as good as paul or williams...but he's right up there and he doesnt get the credit when people are talking about the league's top PGs, and i'm not just talking about tonight's game

Steve Nash is struggling because the Spurs have been and still are allowed to play dirty ball.....if you watch the games Bowen should foul out every game before half time. I hate that fucker. He thinks he is good but he isn't shit.

And we might be watching Flip Saunders and Mike D'Antoni coach their last games.....

Nash is also struggling because he's never been able to play defense...which is fine if you're running up and down the floor on offense and outscoring the other team...of course thats kind of difficult now since when he starts the break its usually 4 on 5 since Marion's replacement isn't exactly quick on his feet

Bowen is a very dirty player, and Ginobli is a master flop artist, but the Spurs are also a very fundamentally sound team in general, and a very good defensive team. And when their offense gets going, its hard to stop them, hence 4 titles in the last 10 years

Yeah I said it then and still do that the Shaq/Marion trade was terrible.

They got Shaq to slow down mainly one big man, Tim Duncan, and that plan has backfired.

Amare kind of held his own against Duncan last year by using his quickness and athleticism to outplay him about half the time...when he was able to stay out of foul trouble, or not sitting out from a very questionable suspension

It almost pisses me off to see Phoenix play well right now. That first game fucked them up. Too late to recover mentally now.

the wizards boycotted some club they always go to because lebron had the song played while he was there (or they played it while he was there) and caron and i think haywood got up and left and said they're never coming back or spending any money there again haha

i dont even think deshawn was there

the internets make an excellent point though

jay-z spends all his time avoiding rap beef post first retirement (pretty much every artist at def jam)

and yet he comes out to protect a grown ass man like lebron who was obviously handling his shit, and especially with a dude like deshawn

this is funny to me:

Quote :
"LeBron, on what he would have done had he known of the closed fist: "Nothing. Shot my two free throws. What'd you want me to do?""

this whole thing has been retarded from the beginning, though. If it were Arenas talking shit, that'd be one thing...it's just how he functions. But DeShawn Stevenson, of all people, calling a guy who just had one of the best regular seasons in NBA history overrated? That's just stupid.

and now, more of this shit from players who shouldn't be talking:

Quote :
""Awww," Haywood said, in a whiny, high-pitched voice to mock James. "They are trying to hurt me.""

yeah, talk more shit to the guy who just put up 34 and 12 against you. Brilliant!

at least Haywood could actually foul the shit out of Lebron and hurt him

Stevenson...not so much

Haywood isn't a great player but physically he could probably at least hold his own with Lebron

now Jason Kidd on Pargo...that was some shit where he was trying to hurt him

of the five Washington starters, the two shittiest ones are the ones talking the most shit

yeah i dont really get it either

i had good bobcats tickets this year and talked plenty of shit, but my main rule was never to talk shit to the best player on the court...maybe haywood and stevenson shouldve talked shit about ilgauskas or varajeo

This is amazing to watch. It may have taken 84 games, but is the Celtic's age finally catching up to them?
