Hey we could sit around and laugh about it.

Go to our country clubs and just act like there are no problems.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA yeah that does give me a couple seconds of fake relief

But its hard for me to laugh we it costs $100 to fill my tank.

Does a ho laugh when she's forced to find a corner and "make money?"

No she dosn't. And neither do I.

^ what do you drive rat? Same fill up price for me, but thats almost double what I get. And if you say a prius im going to fucking key it, just so you know.

^^ shut the fuck up. stop driving a goddamn truck or SUV and stop bitching. since the gas hike, it costs me maybe...15$ more a month in gas. So I cant eat out once more a month, oh well. We are also in a recession thingy-maybe. Also, your whiny-ass gas cries are killing our nations forests at a rate of two saplings per millennium. So I think we have bigger issues to worry about, now don't we?

Yeah I suppose if everyone got together and bought motorcycles, that would absolutely have a monster effect on the oil market.

But can you not think of reasons why this won't happen? Some people are scared of motorcycles....and on and on.

I agree its a great thing for some people to do. I mean I would like to own a bike one day. And it would obviously save gas.

I mean this comment is moving in the right direction I guess. But I know I personally can't afford to go lay down a few grand on a motorcycle. So this idea isn't really what I'm looking for. But thanks.

Right now, in this thread I would like to discuss ideas where large groups of people can all do things simultaneously.

THINK BIG AND POWERFUL ACTIONS PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, you actually brought up a good point in that rant.

You're right. It literally is only costing us a few extra dollars per normal gas stop.

Which is obviously why most people aren't panicing.

The cost of gas is not the only problem with high gas prices. EVERY MOTHER FUCKING THING ON EARTH, almost, IS NOW MORE EXPENSIVE BECAUSE OF HIGHER OIL PRICES.

My point is that this is a very slippery slope we're on.

The amount of power so few people are going to have once prices get way up there....is to me, the real problem.

And I'm not concerned with the earth running out of oil. Yes thats a huge issue in and of itself. But to me, if we were out of oil, we'd just adapt and find ways to make other energy sources work. But for now, since everyone uses oil. The power lies with it.

The best thing that could happen to us right now, would be for the planet to run out of oil. Yeah it would cause massive panic. But this oil shit is evil. (this comment should encite some anger....lol)

anyway....I urge everyone to please be more conscious of the problem

If we run out of oil, say goodbye to cheap plastic.

Hydrogen. Can easily be produced from any electric source: atomic. Oh, and no more politics in chit chat. Thats why you are getting flamed here mostly. I (see: mostly everyone) come here for mostly meaningless discussion and a place to vent with no recourse really. You bring in all this serious crap people dont want to think about when they come here. That and organizing people into doing something en masse doesnt work when it hinders them in any way.

And my topic was moved here by the mods.

Someone mentioned the Speculators.

I did some research on that. and yes I agree that they should have hell to pay.

Goldman Sachs today said we should expect to see $200/barrel

They predicted $100/barrel back when it was still in the $60's, and it happened a lot sooner than their prediction.

There's a shadow just behind me,
shrouding every step I take,
making every promise empty,
pointing every finger at me.
Waiting like a stalking butler,
who upon the finger rests.

I don't want to be, hostile.
I don't want to be, dismal.
But I don't want to, rot in,
an apathetic existance.
See I want to, believe you,
and I want to, trust you,
and I want to have, faith to,
put away the dagger.

WE MUST SEND A MESSAGE TO THE LAWS OF SUPPLY AND DEMAND

If we don't stand together somehow on this issue, we're just going to keep getting worked over by economics.

The graphs don't give a s*&^ about us. We must hit them below the curve somehow.

How sweet would it be to use the same exact amount of gas as before and see prices magically go down...SEND A MESSAGE...fail?

If this catches, I would like to get t-shirt made.

I say "their" because its hard to associate myself with people that are so brainwashed.

But I have faith in you all.

Dig deep. You'll find the answers.

If you come in here and bitch about someone talking "don't buy gas on this day" ......then you obviously only read the first part of the thread.

Congrats you can read half a thread.

If you had read on, you'd know that was only my rough idea and that I continuously asked for better ideas over and over.

Few people had anything to contribute.

Again, thanks to the ones who did contribute.

I'm actually ill at myself for repeating this for the 10th time.

I guess every person has their price. Mines obviously lower than the norm.

But with prices continually going up on gas and with everything else going up because of it.....people will become more and more creative in adjusting.

And I'll be here to help.

thanks

^^ANWAR (sp?)

And what is this whole thing about each person's price? So what are you going to t if gas hits $5, $6, or $10? Quit driving? I doubt. By a more efficient car? Sorry, but you're already broke. Bitch and whine? Aren't you already doing that? Write some letters to companies/congressman? You may as well kick your self in the nuts - it'll accomplish the same thing. Just change your driving habits? Why not just do that all the time, now, and will it make that big of a difference - nope?
