^^ who is then? UM was biggest last year, and they won't lose any seats until the renovation is further along... no one else expanded over them that i know of...

I'm not calling the stadium weak, i'm calling the team weak, and this strange outpouring of fan support. I mean, I had family that went to Oklahoma and i'm a pretty big Sooners fan but I just post on Oklahoma message boards, mainly because the majority don't care or don't know more about OU football.

^^they were supposed to have the renovations in place for this season, or at least the renovations that were going to remove ~1,300 seats.

i'll call it weak

i've been to all the big sec stadiums, most of which are between 80k-90k, and they were all MUCH louder than the big house

i guess you could just blame the fans, but the stadium isn't really designed to keep in any noise even if they did decide to cheer

the big house was probably the biggest letdown in all of my college football roadtrip experiences

umm wow...I don't know how you can come up with that conclusion. don't be fooled by that aerial shot. have you ever seen it from the outside? it looks like an erector set. there are a ton of stadiums in college football that are much more prettier.

There's Arkansas' Razorback Stadium, Army's Michie Stadium, FSU's Doak-Campbell Stadium, Colorado's Folsom Field, BYU's LaVell Edwards Stadium, Washington's Husky Stadium, The Rose Bowl, UGA's Sanford Stadium, UVA's Scott Stadium, as much as it pains me Ohio State has a nice stadium in Ohio Stadium, etc.

beautiful, and should trap more sound... (but more importantly the fans need to respond to it and make some noise)

oh. my. god. i can't believe that kid is going to UM.. badass video though, i hope he can play half that good in college. I dunno if he's got Brian Leonard's durability to be leaping over a bunch of college players. should be fun to see what he can do though.

looks like just like last year, it took you guys a half of football to get serious, and you just couldnt overcome the 1st half deficit

at least you dont have Dennis Dixon and Oregon next week though, and at least people who dont realize App is a quality team arent laughing at you all week this year

All right...shake that one off. Just shake it off. A mediocre start, but with no implication on the Big Ten.

Let's just win 6 games. Please. I don't care if we lose the bowl...just get to one. Keep the streak alive.

ouch, was rough driving 12 hrs to and fro to see that game... but Utah definitely knows how to run the spread. With their QB UM would be a decent contender this year. I wouldn't be surprised if they made it to a BCS bowl undefeated.

Utah's offense was non existent in the 2nd half... but UM's only real chance came on that 2pt conversion attempt. UM never put together a long drive the entire game and all of their points came off of short fields.

Hopefully Miami OH will be a pushover so they can learn a thing or two before traveling to ND.

taking another look at my earlier prediction for the season (without seeing how dismal the offense is), i think getting a W at ND will be crucial to securing a bowl bid later in the season. Fortunately ND looked terrible vs SDSU. It COULD be a defensive battle..

2008 Schedule
8/30 - Utah - W L
9/6 - Miami (Ohio) - W
9/13 - at Notre Dame - W
9/27 - Wisconsin - L
10/4 - Illinois - W
10/11 - Toledo - W
10/18 - at Penn State - L
10/25 - Michigan State - W
11/1 - at Purdue - L
11/8 - at Minnesota - W
11/15 - Northwestern - W
11/22 - at Ohio State - L
