if he gets elected it will be interesting to watch how the media evolves to handle president bashing without immediately labeling it as a hate crime because he's black

there does exist a chance that they won't change though and when obama fucks up, anyone who speaks up will be immediately ostracized.

I'm intrigued by the black community downplaying his "blackness" though. if i were to just go by what I hear at the store and at work, we could elect him but bill clinton would be the only black president ever. Strange how it is popular for his least admirable traits are the ones claimed to make him black too. Would piss me off if I was black.

Bill cosby would suggest that having a black president threatens american black because it would symbolize they finally ARE equal in america and must take responsibility like fucking spiderman

Could be a fantastic thing. but it also could be a catalyst for disaster.

I think he's actually calculated this before hand because honestly all of the change I've speculated on relies only on the assumption he remains the same race throughout his term. He could literally take office and masturbate 16hrs a day and most people's reasons for electing him would have already been fulfilled

Anyway. just so long as he appoints calm minded supreme court justices and doesn't extend the "state of war" powers any further and at least slows down the erosion of privacy. Seen england lately? they're fucked.

It's a hard ass thing to limit your own powers though. Hope he can at least do that.

While him getting elected would hypothetically put more responsibility on black people, it would only be to perfect for some for McCain to win.

If he gets it, you will see some serious disownage from black people I think.
