The Fight Song> Red and White. It amazes me how many students think that Red and White IS our fight song. I'm not speaking of anyone on here necessarily, just people in general. Btw, I know the words to the fight song, red and white, and the alma mater. It seriously takes like 5 minutes of concentration and it's all memorized. Learn them.

the fight song is played enough as it is (and red and white).

play some good songs to get the crowd pumped...
of course... all this is wishful thinking b/c you know they will just play more fox 50 commercials and american eagle and house-autry and alltel, etc....

Honestly anything on that list other than "Song of the South" or "Hey Baby" would be stupid, and "Hey Baby" is so played out I don't think it should be anything but a time out song.

"I Won't Back Down" will look even more ridiculous in an election year, since so many campaigns will surely use it. And if we are going down that road, "We're not gonna take it" may be more fitting.

"Start Me Up" will be shades of TV commercials and bad super bowl halftime shows.

"You Give Love a Bad Name" would just be embarassing.

I do agree this whole song thing is a bad idea. But I guess it’s better than the house Autry or Disney on ice commercials. The big screen has taken away form the atmosphere the past few seasons. It should be paid for by now and I wish they would just show the game and replays on it.

The intro song SHOULD be: Soldiers by Drowning pool

I was recently at a phillies/mets game and this is the song they used when the phils closer, Lidge came into the game. The siren at the beginning and the build up make it a great song for the video intro.
