Your computer can more than likely run it on max settings or damn close to it. The game was designed for the PC, and the graphics aren't top notch.

Wow, pretty big difference in ratings (9.5 for PC, 8.5 for 360, 9.0 for PS3). I ordered it for XBox, but I'm wondering if I should have ordered the PS3 version instead (I generally default to XBox versions for anything cross platform). PC is mostly out of the question, as even if it will run on my laptop it would almost certainly be CPU intensive enough to nearly catch my computer on fire and definitely scald my downtown region.

I have like 15 bonus items when I start the game. I got the digital deluxe version that has a shitload, then I played that flash game on the website, then I uploaded my character for even more stuff.

My dude is going to be pretty bad ass from the get go.

I imagine 360 is probably like playing on low settings for the PC; maybe low-medium

I was planning on getting the 360 version earlier since I rarely play computer games anymore and have become used to the 360's interface, but I'm glad I got the PC version instead

If you have issues loading it via steam, you may need to delete local content and re-download. If that still doesn't work, try deleting "clientregistry.blob" first. If that doesn't work, copy the steamapps into a new folder then paste it back into your new steam folder after re-installing Steam.

I cannot wait to play this game, 20 minutes!!!!

^Wow, that's bullshit. It took me almost two days to download the game, and I'm having the same problem.

So I verified the game files, restarted Steam several times, and hit my PC with a hammer. Steam is now decrypting my files properly.

It wouldn't decrypt for me when I tried at first, but restarting Steam seemed to fix the problem...we'll see if the game works after this is done (currently at about 20%).

FYI, the game installed in about 15 mins from the DVD, and I have it running full blast with a NVIDIA 9500GS card, which in integrated (not the best for gaming).

I had to restart Steam as an administrator. Loading fine now. Having a few problems with the game. Will click on someone to attack and they will just stand there. Maybe you have to move them next to the target first?
