Yeah...and Trent Dilfer sucked. I take that back a little...I like Trent Dilfer...but he wasn't horrible. There were at least 20 other quarterbacks in the league that you could have put in his place and the Ravens still would have won the Super Bowl.

And why do you keep bringing up yards as my main argument? Completion percentage is what I keep harping on. You can't be a serviceable quarterback if you can't complete over half your passes.

And you're really going to bring up Akron?? Yeah...thanks Marcus for "bringing us back" in that game. Great fourth quarter. We had to come back that fourth quarter because he was 7-21 for a 126 yards and one INT in the first three quarters.

And that was following the magnificent 7-13, 36 yard passing performance against App St the week before (he had one completion of 14 yards...so that means it took him 6 completions to net 22 yards). 36 YARDS against a 1-AA opponent.

Honestly...I could probably just reply to all of these posts with "36 YARDS PASSING AGAINST APP ST." You can't be better than anyone if you do that.

To put Evans' yards in perspective, he would be:

9th At Florida
7th at Notre Dame

So it isnt as bad as you might think

All that puts into perspective is how useless this stat actually is.

I love reading you people argue about stuff like this. Most if not all of you don't know the players, any one on the coaching staff, or hell anyone in our athletic department but yet it's what you KNOW will happen. I give it to you for being pationate but please don't get on here acting like you know anything when you don't work in our ad and aren't on the team/live/friends with any of the players.

Because the only way to accurately discuss a player is to know them personally

Yes......TreeTwista10 is way off on this. Hell I would argue Davis was better than Evans.

^^Just guessing...but based on your stats analysis...they'd be pretty similar.

They both lost a decent number of games and have bad TD/Int ratio.
