i have had plenty of loud roommates, but not sex wise. I used to butt heads with my roommates all the time for playing the TV loud as shit at like 3 AM. but it didn't piss me off enough to move out. That's just part of having roommates

I've got no complaints about this thread, its contents or entertainment value; I like sylvershadow. But I get when a silly thing like having sex at an audible volume can cause issues enough to make someone call a good friend a bitch.

Does this room mate ever get laid herself? maybe that is the problem.

she hasnt had any in 2 years.

And I did offer to pay for earplugs.

I think she's using this as an excuse to convince her dad to help her pay for her own place.d

I had the exact same problem with my roommate. The thing is that you live there too and pay rent just like she does. What you do in your room is your own damn buisness. Its not youre fault the walls are thin, you didnt build them.

If she wants to move out because she is either a prude or is just unhappy that she doesnt have someone to have loud sex with then there is nothing that you can do about it.

Good luck!

Maybe you should talk to her about her lack of a sex life and make suggestions to solve that.

If she moves out not only will she still resent that other people are having sex, but she will be lonely, have no room mates to talk to, and still sex starved.

you should tape it and put it on tww so we can see how loud it is...then we will know if she is being a prude or has like a "legit" excuse

We have a pretty decent policy - we try to keep as quiet as possible but recognize that it's impossible to be completely silent. So if there are noises, we're cool with it and just ignore it.

It's called being an adult.

if this is at all representative of your attitude with the whole situation or just in general....it's no surprise she wants to move out. who would want to live with somebody like that.

When I saw the thread creator, I knew this thread was going to be somehow related to sex or dating before I opened it.

That would be incredibly insulting. Not every human is a horndog looking to screw the first thing that comes along. It's not a deficiency to be celibate.

I've heard my roommates make noise before, only time I complained was one bitch that was being overly dramatic and obviously faking it. Yeah, screaming does not make it sound like you aren't faking.

Otherwise, I have not had any trouble. In fact, in my experience people getting it on the regular are much easier to deal with as roommates. Never even had trouble when the roommate's BF/GF moved in. In fact, those are probably my best roommate experiences.

I had a roommate move out because he was uncomfortable hearing my gf and I have sex. He is very likely to read this post too.

i thought it was common knowledge that if you came into chitchat complaining about a situation expecting people to give you sympathy, you will not get it.

Honestly, why do you care if she leaves other than the loss of income? Since she IS paying rent, she has every right to bitch, regardless of whether it's reasonable bitching or not.

Just get over it and put up some flyers looking for a new roommate.

So she never moved out, mainly because I never brought my guy here, although the couple times I did have him over, she kept asking "well when was the last time you slept at his place." I was spending way more time over at his place than he was at mine

Aaanyways, I just came on here to bitch about how she has no problems eating my food and drinking my beer, but I asked her to pick up some soy sauce at the grocery store, and she takes $2 out of her rent check.... cause she apparently never uses to soy sauce... nor the mayo, nor ketchup (which I buy) nor any other condiment, nor the bottled water which I get from my parents, nor the tp and paper towels (which I also buy).

It's only $2, but still.... it's ONLY $2.

I think the only solution is to eat more of her food

^^^^ That sounds exactly like my old roommate. I would go buy $50 of stuff for the kitchen like pots and pans and stuff, and then when I noticed we were out of TP or soap or anything like that I would get it, and then she would go buy a book of stamps and say you owe me $2.34 or whatever because I am going to use these to mail the bills. When she would need something small from the store I would pick it up and say don't worry about reimbursing me for it hoping it would catch on, but it did not.

Stingy roommates suck.
I think it's actually worse when you buy a 6 month supply of Charmin and when it runs out your roommate buys a 6 month supply of ass sandpaper.

if you have roomates that eat your food, then they are awful roomates int he first place and it's your own fault for keeping them around.
