It works as in, no more "oh shit" when you press go. But it's still horrific in terms of it's actual indexing/retrieval. There needs to be a secondary data store for search, cant do all that from a single warehouse.

btw, has it always been when you when you login it goes to the main page?

i tried it out, i figured if you log out on a certain page, and login you would stay on that page.

i logged out in photogallery, and clicked login, it was quicker, and when it went through i ended up on brentroad.com instead of in the photogallery

I am still getting obscene delays sometimes when I try to post a reply and it's usually stuck at "waiting for server"

i just hit log in, wait a second or two then click on message boards.. it takes forever to get past the login page typically but it's done whatever it does to log you in much faster. so, yea, better than waiting a minute..

I don't think I've logged onto the site in under 30 seconds for several months now. I generally have to try three times to get the site to load, getting in the on the third try. The first two times I am directed to an error screen.
