yeah, but that seemed to be the norm in 90's dramas. In more recent years you've seen the teen dramas actually being lead by actors nearer to that age group. Degrassi really succeeded with this and really set the trend.

granted most in the show are probably 20-23, that's still a little more believable than 31. I dunno, it just bothers me.

I feel sorry for Adrianna only b/c I see this as a possible lead in to her falling off the wagon.

Jasper has a knife and is gonna go apeshit on Annie with that knife when he finds out she's the one that killed his uncle.

I worry for Silver, and totally relate to her current story. My dad was going through rehab and stopped drinking (for the 3rd time!) the same time he found out he had prostate cancer. My dad wasn't terminal of course, but it's definitely a fuck with your head/emotions when someone you know is a complete dick when they're drinking has cancer. My brother (older) took the Kelly route of things. Interesting, and very on point for me, how the writers pulled that older/younger sibling take on alcoholism.
