The local media wants NCSU football to remain unpopular so that UNC football has no adversaries in rising to quick popularity (and thus ratings & $$) - they already have the largest bandwagon fanbase in basketball that could easily be converted if the football team starts doing well.

Thus, the questions for both TOB and Cowher (who are both class acts and will always defend young players) from the local media made the assumption that we were all booing Evans and not the coaching staff, etc....

Neither TOB and Cowher trashed our fanbase as the title suggests, but they were interpreted as doing so as they defended college players from individual scrutiny...

^ i don't have a parking pass, does anyone know where I can park? I'm willing to walk. I don't know that campus at all and I've searched for gameday parking info to no avail.

Quote :
"N.C. State fans know a lot of the reasons that you want Nate Irving on your football team.

The sophomore linebacker is tied for the ACC lead with 11.5 tackles per game. He has two interceptions and one fumble recovery in two games.

He’s the best player on a defense that might be the Wolfpack’s best hope to challenge for a bowl bid after a rough start.

They might not know another reason you want Irving on your football team.

Before every game, he writes teammate Javon Walker’s name on his glove. Walker played well late last season before suffering a season-ending knee injury at Miami.

He’s out for the duration of this season, too.

“I know how bad he wanted to play,” Irving said. “I just, it hurt me when I found out he couldn’t play. I almost felt his pain.”

Irving’s teammates are important to him.

“Once you’ve got guys that care about each other, it’s more of a family, like you watch my back and I’ll watch your back,” he said.

That’s a guy you want on your team regardless of the tackles he makes or the turnovers he causes."

unless the clemson o line is complete dog shit, those running backs can always bust a big play.

It appears that there is some General Public Parking at the YMCA, south of campus, and east of campus.

The guy who gave me the tickets is starting to tailgate at 8 am, so Clemson doesn't have any BS rules about how early you can get there and if it is anything like Carter-Finley, GP probably needs to arrive early. I am leaving Raleigh at 6 am, so I hope I can get there by at least 11 am.

45-17 Clemson.....but Wilson passes for 250 yards and he starts to build his confidence for the next slate of conference games.

bah, I wanted to go to this game since tickets were so cheap, but I didn't have anyone to watch the dog all day since the wife was going to be working.

Then at 3am she calls in sick.

Oh well, I'll probably be happy I didn't go at about 12:20.

I saw a stream somewhere, but you had to download special software for it.

found it:

The game can be found here:

http://www.myp2pforum.eu/ncaa/...l-week-3-a.html

TVants SOFTWARE can be down loaded here:
