Maybe this is all tom o'brien strategery.

Maybe Wilson's not really hurt, and he just wants USF to have to prepare for two completely different QB's.

Maybe we're fucked.

part of me wishes we were just being sneaky bastards with this bit, just to make USF sweat it out and prepare for the wrong things

but the odds of this being some nc state shit are much higher b/c TOB seems like a pretty honest, straightforward kind of guy

I want to say "can things get any worse" but should I actually come out and say it we will lose Brown, Tj Graham, and the shitty excuse for the starting punter.

Shoulders are tricky things...it's not uncommon to finish games with a separated shoulder then realizing a few hours later, damn my shoulder hurts like hell. Evans played all last season with two bad ones, both needing surgery. We all want to win on Saturday but I don't mind being safe with Wilson and giving him another week to get back to full health for more ACC play or protecting from more long term type damage. If we can perform similar to the way we played against ECU we can definitley compete with and beat most of the ACC. But we need a healthy Wilson to be able to do that.

losing Irving hurts more than Wilson in my honest opinion. Atleast with Beck we know we have someone who can sling it around (to which team is the question). Behind Irving we have Maddox, a true freshman, while talented, is not even on the same planet as far as ability as Nate right now. These injuries are just ridiculous......i mean.....every week we're losing a starter, or two.

^ I disagree.

Wilson touches the ball every play on offense.

We did okay without Irving. See: goal line stands.

I'm thinking TOB and the program is just making this ish up. Honestly, after the game Saturday, Wilson was one of the main ones jumpin' around and singing the fight song and throwing up his arms and all that shit. I even saw him dancing at the end, soooooo unless you got hurt at practice yesterday, I don't believe this. I think it just might be a ploy. I'll find out tomorrow though from my INSIDE SOURCE. I think it's kind of a neat idea frankly.

TOB quote from technician:

"(Harrison Beck) can wing it around. We just have to tell him that we're wearing the red jerseys on Saturday night and we'll be in good shape."

A seperated shoulder is not a dislocated shoulder. The same could be said for sprains, rolled ankles, strained muscles, deep muscle bruises...adrenaline is a pretty strong drug

MAYBE, just maybe... TOB has the mystics of "NC STATE SHIT" all figured out... and this is a clever ploy to prevent it.

With NC STATE SHIT, our hopes always get crushed when they are nearing their highest. Our season dies right as it starts to get rolling...

But here, TOB is trying to reverse that trend. He's figured out the arcane magics behind our horrible athletics (note that Lee Fowler is neither arcane nor magical)... as soon as our hopes get high, TOB crushes them before NC STATE SHIT ever gets the chance to! Then, at the last minute before the game, after everyone has already chalked it up as an L, he springs the flood of hope on us and puts a perfectly healthy Wilson onto the field.

That's the way I see it.

^^the announcers in the ECU game brought up a good point in the difference in TOB and Amato...just a small difference but a noticeable one...right after we scored the TD to tie (get within an extra point of) ECU and force overtime, they showed O'Brien on the sidelines and he had zero emotion...Amato would probably have been running around and doing clown dances...TOB is all business...it was good to see

he seems like the type of coach who if we had started off the season by beating South Carolina 34-0 he'd say "we made a lot of mistakes...we have a long way to go...i'm disappointed in our effort but we managed to squeak out a win"

It's like TOB is a black hole to hope.... he just sucks it in and destroys it.

Which is exactly what our football program needs.

Must have been the class...I saw Tony Baker every MWF two semesters ago. He had a come class right before me, rarely was he not there.

And Koyal George another hard worker. Sat next to him in STS 301? Some stupid class like that but the kid took mad notes everyday

no offense, but if you have a large number of athletes in a lot of your classes, you're probably not very bright.
