I hope the Pack is able to take it to South Florida and not get to caught up into trying not to make a mistake.

I remember reading all of those polls praising TOB's recruiting class and how he had like the 19th ranked class of 08, and i 98% of the time say it's effort not star power, but maybe just maybe we saw a small glimpse of the potential all the young recruits who are playing could possibly have.

Russell Wilson showed us why he made it to the top of the charts, and Univ. of Nebraska saw something in Harrison Beck to put him on scholarship-im glad we were the place that had a spot for him and that he stuck it out with us when he could of left.

Our O-Line just needs to continue giving the guy behind center time to throw, and we need to strive for having atleast one 100 yard rusher for the game against the Bulls..if we can do that and get into the endzone atleast three times we'll be fine.

GO PACK! For a brief time against ECU last wknd, i remembered how awesome and how lucky I was to be there during Rivers era, and I want this group of guys to have games like that-so years from now the current NCSU students can have something to talk smack about after they've graduated.

i agree with most of your post except that. beck had no other option, he had to stay at state unless he wanted to transfer to a 1-AA school the last semester of his college career and "maybe" get there in time to start.

You can transfer down from I-A to I-AA without penalty (see Ryan Perrilloux). Beck has this year and next to play.

Seeing as how this is the first home game i've been able to go to this season and it's a night game, i'll most likely go overboard with pregame drinking like a dumbass. I'm so thankful to have a wife so she can lead me safely from the TX lot through the woods to the stadium, otherwise I'd be doomed to get lost or injure myself in one of the Indiana Jones style traps along the way (ditches, dropoffs, bigass holes, etc.) Damn this day is dragging.

I'm not a student anymore so I don't sit in the student section or know the policy exactly. From my understanding the north end student section isn't even allowed to start coming in until kickoff. What's the deal with that, it just seems stupid to me and that's one reason the stadium isn't full at kickoff.

how does usf winning or losing against state change the Big East standings? Sure they may look better or worse in the overall picture, but their conference record won't change one way or the other.

^^ Ok....umm, this is my first game this season and I normally got there right at kickoff last season on the few games I attended. I'm trying to arrive early this game. I didn't know.

So even if someone drops me off I can't get seated til' 6:00?? WTF. I always wondered how those students always got by the wall next to the field. I just figured they arrived early, but wow.

just look at that one guy who had to go to some random stat about top-25 teams over the last 6 years - considering we've only been a Division 1 team for 8 full seasons and have only been affiliated with the big east for football since 2004
