because based on the dialogue they were rehearsing, it didnt seem all that funny

^^^ i'm not sure there's any reason to think an actual reunion show would be anything like this fake one. It felt to me like more of a bonus "this is what it was like behind the scenes of Seinfeld", plus, of course, a way to set up jokes like the pen bit and reference past jokes from Curb, like the Judy doll, and from Seinfeld, like George always knowing where the best public toilet is.

nevertheless, i'm sure any real reunion would wind up being a disappointment based solely on the expectations.

wasn't as LOL funny or outrageous as some of the other episodes this season, but it made up for it in character development, plot, heart, etc. Very satisfying. Love this show....

i've been watching some other Larry David stuff on youtube, mostly while trying to find specific Curb clips, and I love this guy. He's just brilliant.
