MLB HAS to do something to keep the fans out of the playing field. This is ridiculous. I dont know for certain that he catches that or if its a natural HR. But keep the fans OUT of the playing field.

fuck that, if fans want to be rude enough to throw balls back, get in fights over popcorn and so on, start penilizing the team. HR. that what it should have been

I'm planning on heading up to NYC for a game on July 3rd, against the Blue Jays.

I started saving up beer money yesterday

If by Yankees you mean Trenton Thunder then I agree... there are way too many guys higher on the depth chart than Brackman right now.

Yankees fans will have to suffer through whiny bitch Ian Kennedy and Kei Igawa before Brackman would get a sniff. Next year he might get a shot to be a long/middle relief guy at some point though... Not too many spots open in that rotation any time soon with AJ, Sabathia and Wang locked up longterm and Hughes, Joba and Kennedy still in the organization...

11-0 win, and Boston loses....if that's my Hump Day feel good moment, I'll take it.

Even better than 11 runs (well, at least just as good), Hughes goes six innings, two hits and six strikeouts. Nice.

CC got stronger as the game went on the other night, i think he is right around the corner from being dominant.

Hughes was great last night...let's hope Chamberlain can follow up with a gem of his own tonight.

7 IP, 3 H, 3 BB, 6 SO, 1 Run. Very good game for Joba, but I still would rather have in the bullpen.

^ well that's just stupid.

190 innings this year > 70 innings.

I understand the logic there, but I really liked the Joba-Mo combo. He has a personality that works well as a set-up/closer, and when he was the set-up man I felt pretty comfortable with a 1 run lead in the 8th inning. And a great starting rotation doesn't mean anything without a good bullpen, just ask Santana.

Joba has pitched in 102 and 100 innings respectively the last two years... You're crazy if you think the Yanks will add 90 (possibly more with playoffs) innings to his 23 year old arm... especially considering how they've babied him already.

Whew...what a comeback tonight. Down 9-4 in the eighth. Scored four in the bottom of the eighth, two in the bottom of the ninth.

I can't believe this organization significantly increased ticket prices, which were already the highest in the country. Absolute bullshit.

Oh, and well fucking done last night.

(at least Joba showed some talent after giving up 4 in the first )

A-Rod went 3/6 in 7 innings, homered twice, and "made numerous plays" in the field during an extended spring training game on Tuesday

He could be back as soon as Friday (2 days from now)

I hope so, then I can stop playing Chris Davis at my 3B spot...ugh
