yea, amnesiac is still a darn good album too. Pyramid Song and Life in a Glass House are two of my favorite radiohead songs. But Pablo Honey just never gets plays from me. I can't even remember the last time I played the CD or played the album on my ipod. At least 5 years id guess. The other ones usually don't go more than 2months without getting a listen.

While I will agree Pablo Honey is one of the weakest albums I still enjoy listening to a few songs like Anyone Can Play Guitar, Creep, Thinking about You, and You

I have a fond memory of Thom Yorke going crazy and jumping into a pool after Anyone Can Play Guitar on some special on MTV

now its hard for me to believe Radiohead was on MTV

i don't know. i think the band as a whole peaked on superuknown. it's just extremely well crafted and more consistent than badmotorfinger. i'll agree that matt cameron's drumming was a little more impressive on badmotorfinger though.

Gonna try my hand at this...

Ben Folds and Ben Folds Five (this is one of the hardest for me it changes so often):
1 - Reinhold Messner (3 months ago the idea of this being anywhere higher than 4 would have seemed absurd to me)
2 - Whatever and Ever Amen
3 - Ben Folds Five (this was my favorite for as long as I can remember, though)
4 - Rockin' the Suburbs

5 - Songs for Silverman
6 - Way to Normal (fake version)
6.5 - Way to Normal

Weezer:
1 - Pinkerton
2 - The Blue Album
97 - 1/2 of The Red Album
98 - The Green Album
99 - Make Believe
100 - Maladroit

The Beach Boys + solo albums:
1 - Pet Sounds
2 - Brian Wilson Presents SMiLE / Smile bootlegs
3 - The Beach Boys Today!
4 - Sunflower
5 - Dennis Wilson - Pacific Ocean Blue
6 - Brian Wilson - That Lucky Old Sun
7 - Summer Days (And Summer Nights!)
8 - Love You
not gonna try to do the rest

Perhaps I'll do more later...

^^ also i'm not saying de stijl or the white stripes are bad albums just because they're at the bottom of the list. they're both great albums. i'd just rather listen to some others instead most of the time.

I actually met a guy at the bar a few weeks ago, who let me drive his brand new Jaguar (that he swears he only paid 26k for)

He insisted we play Ian Brown's solo shit the entire time. and this dude was yacked out of his face, and would play like 15 seconds of every song.

i just cant agree joe_schmoe. I know the prevailing wisdom is that Reign in Blood is the best slayer album, but Seasons in the Abyss has those catchy riffs that you just cant help but love. lot more variety to it as well.

i havent heard many of their albums in the middle, but heard plenty of Regin in Blood, Seasons, Divine Intervention, and a smattering of their last 2-3.

i've been listening to a ton of The Appleseed Cast recently so here's my ranking of their albums currently:

1. The End of the Ring Wars
2. Low Level Owl, Vol. 1
3. Peregrine
4. Low Level Owl, Vol. 2
5. Mare Vitalis
6. Lost Songs
7. Two Conversations

this changes depending on my moods, but this is my list today for the past week.

8 - Machine
"

are you serious after MCIS?"

Oh I'm pretty much mostly serious.
My main agenda is that Siamese Dream is #1. Those asshats who say MCIS is better are morons. Siamese Dream is the best album of the 90s.
And, obviously, MCIS is 2nd.
Then the excitement starts:
3 - Pisces Iscariot - Does this really count as an album? I dunno, but Starla is too incredible to leave off the list. Plume, Obscured, Blew Away kick ass. Some duds could have killed the ranking, but Starla and Blew Away save this album.
4 - Zeitgeist - I was sure this would be the most controversial pick. I know a lot of people complain about it, but I think there are a lot of really good things about this album. Starz is fantastic, 7 Shades of Black kicks ass, and Zeitgeist is amazing (all 3 of the "alternate" songs are good, really). There are a couple of duds - Bring the Light and Lets Go.
5 - Adore - Super-underrated when it came out, but people started turning around to it after a few years. I like most of the songs on it, but nothing kicks ass. Martha, Night Mare, Appels, Perfect, Tear ... all quite good, but just not enough to move up my list. No real duds, though. This could be switched with Zeitgeist because of Zeitgeist's duds.
6 - Gish - A lot of people rave about this album, but I just think it hasn't aged as well as their other stuff. Snail is fucking incredible, I Am One and Rhinoceros are damn good, but most of the album is kinda dirty, too gritty, too raw (some people view those as its positive attributes). Crush, Day Dream, Suffer are just boring. Window Paine makes you sit through 3 minutes of boring to get to 1 minute of pretty good.
7 - Machina II - reviewing the list, switch this with Machina. Hell, maybe even move Machina in front of Gish. Machina II isn't that good. Lucky 13 rocks, though. (This is also the album that I've listened to the least by a long shot - I probably have never really even given it a chance.)
8 - Machina - (oops on the misspelling) - On review, there are some damn good songs on this album. Stand Inside Your Love is one of the best songs Billy ever wrote. This Time, The Imploding Voice, With Every Light, I of the Mourning, Raindrops are all pretty darn good. But Heavy Metal Machine, Glass and the Ghost Children, and Blue Skies Bring Tears are just dreadful. Damn, looking back over this album, there really are a lot of good songs on it. I fucked up on this ranking - forgot about a lot of these songs... Definitely move this above Gish. Maybe above Adore, too.
