picked up the Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix vinyl the other day.

I don't really see me buying cds anymore. I'm loving how a lot of artists are including free cds or full album downloads when you purchase the vinyl.

^ Yeah. Generally speaking vinyl is cheaper, comes with downloads, and has way cooler artwork/packaging. CDs are done for.

it's usually not cheaper (average new record is around $16.99 retail, CD $13-14.99), but other than that I agree with the above two posts

I guess maybe it's what I've been buying, but the recent records have been 10-12.99. Oh well.

if any new students are reading this, we have thousands of New and Used CDs (Used CDs are usually priced between $6.99-8.99), tons of new and used vinyl, tons of posters (which are $5.99 a piece of if you use that coupon, way cheaper than the Brickyard), DVDs, Blu-rays, etc. come check that shit out. the Hillsborough St. construction is definitely causing a lot of problems for all business on the street, so we'd love to see some new faces (sorry, not gonna buy an ad)

^^^^ don't think so

^^^ go look at CD prices at other places. this isn't true at all. the only time it IS true is for new releases, where stores like Best Buy will eat the cost of new CDs and charge $9.99 for them, which we just can't afford to do. otherwise, the prices are pretty comparable. and we've always been cheaper than those FYE, Coconuts, Sam Ash type of stores (which I think are closed down now)

alot of Borders book stores have also stopped selling CDs and DVDs. I never understood why anyone would pay what they and Barnes and Noble charge for music and movies.

Finally found it on vinyl, but had to check the Bella Union page once a week for months. Uggg.

I tried to order it thru School Kids earlier in the summer, but they couldn't get it either, apparently.
