I like the BB messenger. Good tip about not having to get PINs from people... I still use my iPhone for a lot of day-to-day stuff but I have to say the BB has grown on me. Especially as Verizon gets better signal, AIM is easier to use and the battery lasts longer.

Had my storm since February and haven't used it yet. I think DivaBaby19 was the only pin I had, then I switched out my phone and now I have none.

that's what i was wondering. every BB data package for Alltel includes unlimited texts. which is why, when i switched from a normal phone to a BB, my bill didn't actually change, because i was able to drop my $15/mo (or whatever it was) texting plan

blackberries are tempting, but i have sprint SERO so i'm so used to be $35-40/mo unlimited plan, i'm spoiled.

but i'm completely over the htc touch i have. keyboards are sorta ftw.

the flyer he gave me in the store that listed all the smart choice plans all included unlimited texting. maybe there's cheaper packages you can get? what's the cheapest? my package is $89.99.

yeah, apparently there's 2. a 500 min plan with only 5 my circle #'s and one with 10 my circle #'s and free texting. I pay $92 bucks/month for 450min, unlimited data and 500 texts with unlimited IN on verizon.

it's sounding like verizon's plans really suck ass compared to alltel's. i'm hoping verizon doesn't trash alltel's plan/cost structure. I'm going to be pissed if verizon charges me more for less.

How do I redownload/get BB messenger back on my phone. I deleted it back when I first got my curve because I thought I'd never use it. When I try to download it from the blackberry page it says "Piss off. You have to load this app from your desktop manager." But apparently desktop manager doesn't have any idea what BBmessenger is, and I can't for the life of me find it on that disk.

ha yeah, it's pretty nifty. I uploaded my barcode to my photobucket account, opened it on my computer and put my phone in front of it and it added me as a contact. Too bad I only know like one other person with a blackberry.

haha yeah and they're probably already my friend on bb. but like i was saying in the other thread, it's a functional scanner for other links (and it works a lot better than beetag or whatever)



only thing is the internal browser blows, but it's great for OTA links/downloads. the kids in japan are laughin at us

^^ I've got the latest DM. When I go to load programs on my phone, BBM does not show up in the list.
