I'm glad I record Hell's Kitchen and got to see the great events that took place. I'm so glad anoop made it (even though he seemed to have a shakey performance, he's fun) and the bluesey guy. Those were my two.

I still don't see why they praise the quirky blonde girl so much, i guess they just want to tap into the indy/adult alt. market or something.

every year they talk about how this is the greatest top 12 ever and half the people suck, but these first 7 have all been really good. acutally, i may be biased but i think the blind guy has been the worst so far but there is no way he gets voted off

The issue is that if you do the song the same way that the original artist did it, 99% of the time you're going to come up short. For example, no one is going to do a pop version of Billie Jean better than Michael Jackson. It just isn't going to happen.

You need to do something like David Cook (or well, Chris Cornell) did with Billie Jean last year. Or what Michael Johns did with Bohemian Rhapsody during Hollywood week. Take the song and make it your own.
