I think it'd been smart if Aaron Rodgers signed a cap for a cancer survivor while being filmed by local/national media. Instead he didn't even take off his headphones.

Breaking news: Aaron Rodgers walks past woman who was just standing there, not doing much to get his attention

What should she have been doing instead?

Maybe holding a charity event for Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer, for which he sits on the board of directors

"Shortly after this very public back and forth I heard quite reliably that Aaron Rodgers spoke to and signed an autograph for Jan Cavanaugh just last week before the Packers' Wild Card game victory over Philadelphia. It turns out Ms. Cavanaugh is a regular at the airport when the Packers travel and can often be found trying to get players to sign things for her."

At the minimum, he is a great advocate for Cancer survivors sometimes and sometimes he just doesn't give a fuck because it's hard to take twelve seconds to sign a hat.

But he's an idiot for sure for looking like he doesn't care right in front of a camera. People easily make judgments based on what they see (whether they are true observations or not).

But I like how your original argument... that she wasn't trying hard enough to get his attention. Why didn't you stick to that?

I realize you're just a dude who follows me around TWW trying to rile me up, but come on dude

He signed her hat the week before, probably several times if she in fact is always at the airport

It wouldn't have been a bad idea to stop, but like I said, she wasn't doing much to make her intentions known

It's pretty reactionary to take something like a two second clip completely out of context

Try better next time

This pretty much settles it

"The video has drawn criticism but the only people Jan is critical of today are those creating the chatter.

"I am very unhappy with people making so much out of this, because this really isn't that big of a deal. It's up to the players to decide who they want to give an autograph to, and that's their prerogative.""

Check out the autograph on that #12 jersey she's holding

Also worth noting that the TV station has taken down the original story

Ad hominem. Come on dude. Thanks for letting me live in your world though.

Who cares? Is there a limit? She wasn't hassling him. She's not an autograph hound looking to resell shit.

Yeah, let's. Packers opened at -3. Now at -3.5. Hmm...

Ernie can now buy some Packers stock

Quote :
"Want to be NFL owner? Packers near 5th stock sale

MILWAUKEE -- Cheeseheads might soon get another chance to own a piece of the Super Bowl champs.

The Green Bay Packers are expected to offer stock in the NFL team by the end of the year, raising money to help pay for a $130 million renovation of Lambeau Field. The work would add thousands of seats in time for the 2013 season.

The NFL's only publicly owned team hasn't sold stock since 1997. It likely would sell shares for about $200 each, which would get buyers voting rights, access to annual meetings and perks like tours of the playing field and locker rooms. The stock wouldn't appreciate and there wouldn't be any dividends, but buyers would be able to call themselves NFL owners."
