the use of dry ice in the cooler keeps things ice cold/frozen until sunday.

set up your tent to the west of your shade, it will keep the sun out for a little while longer getting you some extra zzzz's before it's 1000 degrees outside.

wear sunscreen (even in the car in the line into the venue). can't tell you how many people i see wolfpack-red on day one, ruining their entire weekend.

pace yourself. have a blast.

legs still recovering from Saturday night.

Favorites were of Montreal and Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

Of Montreal surprised me, last time I saw them they played 85% Skeletal Lamping which I hate, but
this was a better mix I think. Finished with a ridiculous "The Past Is A Grotesque Animal," and broke
everything.

YYY's were great. Played "Art Star". aw yeah.

had a fuckin' blast. favorite shows: NIN, beasties, YYY's, Mars Volta and Rodrigo y Gabriela.

i'm not a huge phish fan but i enjoyed both nights thoroughly. i was most disappointed in the animal collective show. people were dropping like flies during that show too. combination of heat, dehydration and whatever they were on. but damn a lot of people were getting carried out of that crowd.

heard the moe. show was sick. they did a band switch w/ grace potter and the nocturnals for the setbreak, so there was continuous music in That Tent from 1am to 7am. need to dl the soundboards for that.

Got back on Monday night! We were front and center for The Beastie Boys, Snoop Dog, Bruce, and both Phish shows! I didn't really like Animal Collective or Erika Badu that much. Some of the other bands I hadn't heard of were great, like Of Montreal, Moe, and Galactic. Stayed at Camp Luke Skywalker with a group of friends and partied nonstop. Some of the coolest neighbors I've ever had too, and we had one of the tallest poles in the entire place. We had an upside down polish flag as the top flag, and a pirate flag as the bottom flag. After the phish concert somebody actually took down our epic pole and stole our pirate flag, lol. Tricksey Bastards. I saw a lot of people there that I know and danced with a lot of young muddy women, lol. Plus I lost 10 pounds just walking around in the sun for four days. I love the Roo!

apparently, for the most disgraceful of wooks, its a game for them to go around stealing pirate flags. like, every one of them got stolen, and every one of them has for the past few years.

my roo was amazing. we were in camp darth vader, like 100 yards from the ferris wheel.

anybody else see any comedy shows? went to the mike & mike have issues show on sunday afternoon. nice to get out of the sun (and into ac), into a seat, and lol for a while.

I missed the comedy shows, but kinda wish I had the time to go to a few of them. I spent the majority of my time wandering around centerroo, meeting new people, drinking lots of water, getting sunburned, and partaking in the festivities. Did anyone do the silent disco? That looked pretty fun. I managed to lose 8 pounds in 4 days, lol.
