shit's going to be epic if they're hyping it up this much though, or at least I hope it is

The best thing about this show to me is I really don't have a clue about what's going to happen episode by episode (with the main meth plotline and Walt, not the side Skylar boss and Jesse girlfriend side plots). Kind of like how 24 used to be when you watched it for the first time - you could kind of predict the bullshit Kim would get into - but the main plot twists were out of nowhere. Hopefully this show can keep that up as the episodes roll on.

wow, yeah - had me racing there at the end. Something major has to happen soon.

Glad to see Saul was back, although I was hoping he would take a more active role in the distribution.

The new partner looks like a great guy to have on their side, but he's totally right about Jesse. Especially now that he's using hardcore again with his girl. btw, what were they shooting? Was it heroin and meth mixed together? What has the liquid? anything special, or just something to dissolve everything in?

If Walt find's a new distribution channel, does he have any need for Jesse any more? Seems like all he does now is get supplies, but Walt could do that, especially with the help of Saul.

Still waiting on Hank and the DEA to show up big time pretty soon.

^^It was a speedball; you mix heroine and cocaine together and inject the mixture into your system. It amazed me how graphically they showed the drug use in this episode.

[Edited on May 19, 2009 at 2:25 AM. Reason : Its a "poor man's speedball", which is heroin and meth. http://parentingteens.about.com/cs/herpes/l/]

Yeah, I feel dirty having been seriously seriously turned on by that chick in those five minutes. I think they actually had both the heroin and coke though because she said "I like to put a little ice in mine" or something to that effect and you do see her throw some powder in there last. And yes, it was just water.

yeah, but i thought "ice" was meth, which is why i was curious.

when she walked into Jesse's apartment and pulled something out of her jacket, I watched it twice and I thought it was an entire brick of heroin. But it must have been a brown bag that had all the needles and heroin in it, right? Kind of funny because she pulled it out and I was like "holy shit, wtf - that is a shit-ton of heroin. are they going to sell it?", but turns out it wasn't heroin, but it was carrying heroin.

what was it that the new distribution guy said to walt about jesse. i played it a few times but it was muffled. it was something along the lines of "you can never trust a _____ head" but it didn't sound like he said meth, even though he probably did.

i, too, was sad about her starting using again. especially since she tried so hard to get him out of the house and do something else, such as attend her meeting.

Walt missed the birth of his child, so i hope he made the deal in time.

^^ Yeah, she returned with a kit, some H, some blow(maybe?) with the intention of speedballing with Jesse. I think she threw in the water and H, made the 'ice' comment and grabbed some meth. Then you see the powder go in, which in retrospect, I guess could have been baking soda. I've never cooked anything down to shoot up so I dunno.

^I remember hearing it as "drug addict"

yeah, not sure if that is supposed to symbolize something, or if it will come back somehow (like.... the DEA finds the tire and connects it back to Walt somehow), or if it was just supposed to be a scene from the exchange and they just didn't show the actual exchange.

I thought it was interesting they didn't show the exchange, and looking back on it, kind of a "bold", or at least unusual move. That is, I imagine probably everyone thought that at the end of last week's episode, this weeks would spend a while going over the whole exchange. So I was a bit shocked when we only saw a few seconds, then Walt was already back home, but when I thought about it, I guess we didn't really miss much. The writers just weren't interested in making a big contentious scene of the exchange with a lot of drama and whatnot, and instead just left it to the viewer to think "ok, the exchange is over, on to more important things now"

So any speculation on what the scene at the pool is? Will that be the series finale, season finale, what? It looks like Walt gets in some serious shit as his glasses are taken with evidence, and it appears to be at their house. I wasn't sure if they were going with another season so I assumed that could be a scene from the series finale, but if thats a full season from now I can't imagine they would show part of that scene already.

I have a feeling the mexicans are gonna come after Walt. Maybe they come after him at his house but Walt is able to make it look like just a normal robbery, until his brother in law notice something sketch at the end of the episode - leading to next season with his brother in law investigating him. I really want the show to end with Walt getting caught by his brother, then him letting him go because he is on his deathbed.

This episode is going to be about the DEA investigating the girl's death, Jesse's involvement, Walt taking Jesse in maybe? Plus there's a scene when Walt is being prepped for surgery all drugged up that when his wife asks for his cell phone he goes "Which one?" and she gets real suspicious.

I can't really see any room for Mexicans this episode unless its an ultimate cliff hanger for next season in the last 5 minutes of the show.

there was one part in the preview scene where there are two body bags in Walt's driveway. I thought they were gonna be Jesse and that girl but I guess not.

also in that dead body in the bags scene in Walt's driveway, wasn't the windshield of the Aztec smashed in?

Strange indeed... The way this show is going, i wouldn't be surprised if the gangsters came and killed his son or something. that'd be ironic.

i think the relatively slow, methodical pace of S2 has shown that they are committed to not taking the ridiculous, high-action and zany-situations at all cost pace that Weeds took.

Uh.. what?

After all the build up to that scene, what the fuck?

Who are the two body bags belonging to?

What the hell does that have to do with anything?

Seems to me like they had this season designed potentially as being the final season, but then had to swerve.

Had we seen the guys in the bio suits during the pool scene before this episode?

Why were his glasses with the evidence stuff in one of the earlier episodes, they didn't show them this episode.

This show just opened up so many questions with this, not something it has typically done.

I really think they had to swerve with this episode because they found out they were getting another season.

Other then the last scene, I thought it was a great episode. Skylar figures shit out, will she tell her brother? Chicken man finds out more about Walt... that should be interesting.
