i changed my original post by one because during your multiple edits, you changed your original conditional from <2, to (<=2 && != 0). so i had to up my number by one to keep up with your changes.

anyhow, your formula as it stands is still completely broken. if youre going to have those conditionals, you need to write it as

if ( 50 - posts % 50 <= 2 && 50 - post % 50 > 0 )

but that's kind of dumb, it would be more sensible to write it as

if ( posts % 50 >= 48 )

and be done with it.

you dont write code professionally, i take it? that's okay. at least you're trying.... stick with it, you'll get better. if you want me to recommend some tutorials for you i know some free ones you can do on teh internets.

the whole point of the code, is to extend it beyond PAGE 1. Your "automated post finder code" doesnt help anyone if it works on Page 1 but can't work on Page 2 or any page thereafter.

look at your code again. I'm sure you'll see that anyone with basic skills can see that it is broken for all pages beyond the first. it will not work. It can never work.

50 % 47        = 3
50 % 48        = 2
50 % 49        = 1
50 % 50        = 0
50 % 51        = 50
50 % 52        = 50
50 % 53        = 50

50 % 97        = 50

Modulo is a basic arithmetic operator kind of like your posts are funny, insightful, and valuable to the community.

Modulo is not a mathematical operator and behavior for quantities < 0 is not consistent from language to language. It's use is considered unnecessary obfuscation and poor programming practice in most cases, as well. You don't program in a professional environment with code standards, do you?
