eh, I think this has a lot to do with the guy's relationship with his ex. I dated one guy who would constantly talk about his ex and how he wanted her back. Why the hell I stayed in that one for as long as I did is beyond me.

Guy before that didn't talk much about his ex and didn't seem to really care what she was up to anymore, so I in turn didn't care
