CBS is hating this because Cabrera hates doing interviews he claims his English isn't very good.

Man I really wanted to see Perry or Campbell win.....they both deserve a major. I hate to see foreigners run shit on us. Tiger and Phil finally became relevant and Phil actually beat him today playing together. Too bad they both started badly.

welcome to the PGA tour... I was in Oakmount when Angel Cabrera won... he beat tiger flat out and the crowd was going nuts. He is also probably one of the more classy and nice guys on tour. Between donations and personal help with his own charities, there isnt a better person who could have won.

who really gives a fuck whether or not some guy who wins a golf tournament can speak english. the competition level is higher on the pga tour right now than it has ever been. everyone saw today the golf world, and the back and forth excitement that comes along with a sub-superhero status tiger woods.

most exciting masters i think i have ever seen.

I've always considered the guy a jerk, but I've had a limited view of him. I've only seen him yell at or threaten spectators and swear up a storm in Spanish - which the networks don't filter out, I guess because they don't know what he's saying. Plus he just has that I'll punch your grandma look about him. Maybe he did all that stuff in one tournament. The memory is a bit hazy, but it served as a first impression of the guy, for me at least.

Didn't know about the charity stuff. That helps, but I can't consider the guy classy.
