I just watched Iron Man for the 2nd time. My wife wanted to see it for the first time before we went and saw the new one.

I have a question that I didn't think about the first time I watched it. It may have a simple answer but the movie really didn't explain it. At the end, how does he get a new chest piece? Did he just have another one laying around somewhere? Or is the chest piece totally gone now?
