^His character wasn't funny, but he provided one of the best moments of the movie when he first jumped out of the trunk butt ass naked!

this movie just guaranteed Galifianakis movie immunity for the next couple of years. Anyone know what he's working on now?

I saw him in the trailer for "G-Force" about the hamsters.

Also read rumors about "The Hangover 2" and I figure he'll be back in that one.

i really wish they wouldn't ruin movies like this with a sequel. the premise of movies like this makes a sequel unrealistic.

same thing happened to harold and kumar. assholes.

^^^Check out his IMDB profile for what he is working on: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0302108/ although everything on there is in postproduction so he was signed up for all of it before the Hangover was seen by anyone most likely.

Harold and Kumar 2 was awesome.

If for no other reason than NPH entire performance, including "I'm going to a whorehouse and I'm gonna get my fuck on. If you two don't want to get your dicks wet, that's fine with me."

harold and kumar 2 was about a 5/10 on the "how good was this movie" scale

[Edited on June 8, 2009 at 9:57 PM. Reason : with the first being a 7.5 or maybe 8 on the how good was this movie scale]

I will be seeing The Hangover this weekend.

oh come on... people actually do this?

even if you didn't think this movie was funny, there's no way in hell it was walk-out bad or do you just happen to walk out on a lot of movies?

the wolfpack reference might have been more deliberate than one may think.
Zach was repping the pack on his show "Late World" by wearing an NC State shirt

I hope during football season they use clips of the "Who will be in my wolfpack" speech for one of those clips where they try to motivate the crowd.

Not a "ground breaking" movie in the humor part, but fucking funny. The entire theater, PACKED, died laughing throughout the whole movie.

The credits were totally worth the $11.50 I paid, if nothing else. (Yeah, NYC movies are rape-worthy prices.)

idk, there was something seriously wrong with the movie and I couldn't put my finger on it. It was a great movie, but I felt like the characters and jokes were the only thing that held it together. The more I think about it, I think the problem was the sound editing/directing. I got the same feeling after recently watching Old School.

I was really hoping for Zach to have one of his outbursts that he always has with whatever character he's playing.

I think I'm just spoiled by Judd Apatow and Kevin Smith.

^ i think the problem is they seemed to not have a script aside from the jokes. they just went into rooms and were like "oh yeah guys i think we need to go over here".

Ha, that sounds about right, actually.

But like others have said, I wish I could have seen it without seeing the best gags in the previews. Granted, I probably wouldn't have actually gone to see it had those not been as funny.

that makes sense, a lot of zach galifianakis' jokes were similar to ones from his standup and other stuff he's done, so they probably didn't have much of a script

I agree with the post that said there was something lacking from this movie. Can't quite put my finger on it -- jokes were money, chemistry was great, it's got a Heather Graham boob -- but something seemed undone.
