Duke was just tripped over themselves less.

Sorry, but Duke was more athletic than ASU, just like Duke's teams were more athletic than State's for years. Just about everybody for Duke can take their man off the dribble to the rim and can shoot. They consistently broke down ASU's defense, just like they did when Herb was at State. Call it quickness, call it skills, call it whatever you want, Duke has more of it. It's no wonder Herb beat Duke 3 times in 10 years.

I said ASU was less athletic than Duke. I never said Duke had amazing athletes. But they were quicker, they were clearly more athletic than ASU. ASU's system is less about athletes and more about system players.
