On one hand...i hate ECU and everything that school stands for, except for their nursing program.

On the other hand...i have a few App friends that can't get through their head that App is not on the same level as State, UNC, etc.

What sucks is i am gonna be hanging out with my App friends on the day of the game. SO......shit

i'm in a similar dilemma.

living in charlotte, this place is infested with self-righteous App St rats who think their championships mean anything to anyone on the bcs level.

but i also have never been more annoyed with ecu fans than after they beat vtech on a fluke blocked punt and then caught WVU napping in week 2. pirates fans also think they're relevant because they beat us when we were at our absolute worst in a 3-9 season.

I don't think they'll push Armanti to the limits for this game. 30 stitches in and out is a pretty big wound. They've been saying the back-up QB has been looking really good so I expect to see him most of the game, although I doubt he can even touch Armanti's skills.

Both sets of fans have an undeserved sense of self accomplishment. App's is more justified however. Three FCS championships and beating a big name program is at least respectible. EZUs fanbase has talked big game for years without being able to back it up. They're on the right track but they're no national power.
