But saying 6 million people died in the holocaust (ignoring the deaths of the non-jews) seems almost as bad as denying the holocaust all together.

^ Now you're getting it, Simple Jack. Two out of three 6 p.m. network news programs did not even mention a U.S. soldier being shot down in the homeland by a Muslim extremist. But the story about the killing at the Holocaust Museum by a racist anti-Semite was the lead story on every network--as it should have been.

My argument isn't that the Holocaust Museum shooting shouldn't have been the top story--it should have been. But the soldier's shooting should have been given the same coverage.
