that's what i wanted to post but couldn't really form into a coherent thought.

the whole reason he met Jemma (Gemma?) is cuz he wanted to be a whore and pimp out his big piece of man meat. not so he could settle down with the first girl that came along. the fact that she wasn't "happy with him" the first time - ok, i can see him wanting to go back and try to please her so she gets her money's worth. but as soon as he realized how nuts she was, i.e. the whole beach scene - no man in his right mind would continue to pursue her, money or not. especially since he was trying to build up a "business" of sorts. there are no emotional connections in that business, he should have known better. i personally don't think that character would have done all this with Jemma. he'd have dropped her right after the beach scene and been done with it.

Tanya did start writing again at the end of the show as she watched the dust swirl in the sunlight as she laid on the bed. you cant have this show w/out Tanya being the way she is. i, for one, love the
neuritic side of her. She grew balls last night. She confronted Floyd for taking advantage of women in her position and her Mother. this was a break through for her character.

uhhh...at the very end of the episode we see tAnya sitting on her bed, listening to music, staring at the dust and she gets inspired...whips out a book...and starts scribbling away. yeah it was a recycled poem, watching her read it was terribly sad, but the whole event got her writing again.

you can see why/how she is tormented by her mother...especially on the self esteem side when her

mother said to her: "oh you brought a teenager home" and then something about her being "old Tanya"

one of the reasons i think that she recycled the poem is b/c she carries those same emotions about her mom that she had as a teenager so it was time to exorcise her demons. even after she read
her poem...her mother just paused for a second and kept on going with out any real "care" as to where / why her daughter wrote this.
