gave up on zikel, forget that.

on the server that starts with an I, isphal whatever. So far so good, ascended and all. Que hasn't been bad.

It does stink, but if the mistake is to little servers vs. to many... this one is the better choice. If in a week the que's are still this bad then there is a problem. My guess is that it will settle and there will be some but they have to be increasing pop caps as players start to get to higher levels.

I do enjoy the game a lot as well.

Devs have stated they are working on a solution to the server queues. They've been very responsive to player concerns thus far, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for a while. Marchutan queues aren't bad except for peak hours, which I'm used to from back when I played wow (dunno if wow still has queues).

Already getting tells from Kinah-selling/buying spammers. I hope they implement a quick way to report/ignore them.

well it looks like they fixed my problem which was NOT the wait of the queues but the fact that when the program crashes you have to get back in line at the end which is completely unfair

well it crashed today and then i logged right back in, the queue came up for about 3 seconds and then went away and i was able to log right back in

so im happier!

also my gathering approach is really not working because everybody and their mother are undercutting, shit is going for half of what it should be (granted, half of what it should be in beta might be final price but if thats the case im not even gonna worry about gathering)

So far ive got gathering up to 70, aether extracting up to 50, and close to hitting my 3rd cube update

You just doing gathering and aether as you level or have you gone to specific areas to raise it?

I need to get my aether up. Gathering is at 40 I think. Got my tailoring up to 60 though, and the first thing I made for myself proc'ed which was sweet.

i started by gathering first as much as humanly possible because i know even going into some of the lower levels there are some 50p items so i like to stay at least 20 pts above whatever will be next level that way gathering goes faster. ive only failed once ever.

aether is a different animal. ive only gathered that when i needed to go back to altgard or needed a rest from farming the ice lake so i havent spent too much time doing it. itll be ALOT easier when some new wings + flight potions are used.

here's what ive been doing

there are no queues in the morning-early afternoon so login when you wake up and then just afk at a private store till you get home, itll keep you logged in for 25 hrs so just repeat each day and youll be good to go

Changed it today, private shops can only afk for 30 min. I hate the change, really hurts the ability to sell items especially with limited TB spots as well.

17 on my sin, been trying to get tailoring up too which is around 110 right now.

Haven't had as much time to play as I'd liked, I want to get into some pvp.

I dueled a bit in the city, first one was against a lower level and we went toe to toe and I won, second was against a level 21 and I died so quick it was a joke. I'm interested to see how the PvP will work.

gathering is 100x easier than aether gathering agreed.

i had to start some other characters because i filled my upgraded warehouse on my chanter. it makes alot more sense to take a few hours and level alts up to 10 for space rather than spend money on upgrading past 180k for one row.

also phys crit manastones seem to drop more in the lower levels which is what i need

Chanters can level fast because you dont need to rely on pots

in fact, i have not used one once. that's not probably to my benefit but if i learn to level without them, then at endgame when i do have them it'll be an added tool. i rarely let my health get below a quarter left and i can take on 2-3 mobs 2-3 levels higher

I'm leveling an assassin which has been a bit slow. Mostly just because I'm not in any real hurry but also a lot of downtime to heal and such. Apparently 25+ we start mowing down mobs a lot faster, we'll see. Need to hit 20 tonight so I can try some pvp which I think I can start doing at that point.

22 assassin here, and sadly, PvP isnt working so well yet. no ranged slows or stuns, and though we can sneak up, the backstab isnt even close to enough to down an enemy. so though you look like you are ok at first, you end up getting wasted by anything with ranged attack.

or maybe im just frustrated from running into too many sorc's / chanters / rangers.
