You guys may not know this, but I consider myself…a bit of a loner. I tend to think of myself as a one man wolf pack. But when my sister brought Doug home, I knew he was one of my own. And my wolf pack, it grew by one. So were two…so there was two of us in the pack. I…I was alone first in the pack, and then Doug joined in later.

Earlier this month Ariel Down (same band that did Hurricane Warning)recorded a rock version of our fight song. It used to be available on youtube but has been taken down now because they are going to debut it at the first game. Not sure if it will be for the intro though.

I think they should open with the nativity scene on the fifty yard line. we should create a giant trojan horse but make it a big wolf instead of a horse, and then wheel it over to the opponents sideline. we fill it with a live pack of ferocious wolves, and then when spurrier and his cocks run out we unleash them upon them. after they eat their faces off, the wolves retreat back to the structure where they wait for next week. then we run out to boom and fireworks, while stomping on the carcasses and beating them mercilessly.

Bout 98% positive that this song (rock version of fight song & red and white ) is being played just before the team comes out of the tunnel... After all the lineups etc are announced and videos played, this 'rock' song will play, then "WOLF PACK IN THE HOUSE" comes over the speakers and the fireworks go off...Almost positive that is how it's going to happen...

Haven't heard the song yet so i can't judge...but i have low expectations...

yeah the tech guys have had months and months to work toward today and the USC fan section out cheered the Thursday night season opener music debut intro music and videos

not to mention you couldn't even hear Coach Harper trying to lead the cheers at the beginning

Either we need an entire new sound system installed or the audio guys need to stop running around with their thumbs up their asses, because it was completely unacceptable

I say ditch anything recorded (except starting lineups) and have the band come up with something. There are more and more members each year (~320 this year?), and we've already got the best pregame show in the ACC.

Are you shitting me? You've obviously never been to Clemson, Virginia Tech, or FSU have you? Go watch some SEC or Big 10 schools. I used to be in band and no amount of OMG THIS BAND IS FUKKIN DANGEROUS! changes the fact that we're tradition-less, the band won't be serious until there are actual music majors in it or they compensate better (1 hour credit for 12 hours of work some weeks!) , and the extreme usage of recorded music at most points in the pregame (I can think of no band I'd least like to hear than POD or this new Ariel Whatever) mean we have no room to say we have a pregame that's the best, unless we moved down to C-USA or the Sun Belt something.

I mean, I hate UT but if you want to talk great pregames, that's where it's at.

part of the problem in terms of intro could have been that the canesvision control room was ripped apart and they've only really had a week to use it... i don't know how much they could produce out of the room though... the audio problem can be explained here:
