i agree that it's pretty popular, but Magic hat makes stuff that's too quirky/fruity/wheaty for my tastes. Plus that group of assholes won't tell you anything on the label to tell you that you're buying a fucking pink beer like I did when I tried their "Wacko" summer seasonal. shit was awful.

fuck it, I won't lie... I always have a case of Coors light in the fridge so I can drink cheap. It's refreshing. But then I always have a 6-pack of something good next to it. So..... maybe I have a problem.

Biofreak, I agree that everyone has their own tastes I just don't like "fad" beers that people drink because they think it makes them more sophisticated. I just have to laugh when people see my beer collection (I collect bottles, have been for 4 years) and start telling me how they are some sort of aficionado on beer and when I ask what their favorite is they say #9 or Fat Tire just because its the flavor of the month. Also, just because the beer sells on a national level doesn't make it a great beer, I feel like half the time its just successful marketing with a decent beer.

think about this chance- not everyone is going to like everything. But companies wouldn't spend thousands to millions of dollars to put something out there if there wasn't a market of people that like it.... why is that so hard to understand?

Tried it. Wasn't anything special but was smooth before and after. I dont know. It seemed like a decent smooth beer. I would buy it for myself sometime.

i just stumbled upon this tonight and picked up a 6 pack... drinking one now... not too bad!

it's something new around here... i discovered it because my dad lives in Fort Collins and I learned to like it... do i buy it every time i go to the sto or out? no. do I sometimes enjoy it? yes. is it satisfying that i knew about it before 90% of the rest of the people around here? yes.

False.
Well, true that wacko doesn't taste that great.... but false that they didn't put anything on the label to tell you that you're buying a pink beer. I had never heard of it, no one had ever told me about it, and yet the first time I tried wacko, I read on the bottle where it said "a beer with beet juice color," and could clearly understand that the beer was pink or red -- so I poured it into a glass to confirm.
