I sometime see cars on multiple-lane roads stop at a green light to let a pedestrian cross. PEOPLE GET KILLED BECAUSE OF THIS. The other cars have a green light and can't see the pedestrian crossing, while the pedestrian may not see the other cars. Why the fuck someone would stop at a crosswalk when they have a green light makes no sense. It's only crosswalks that are not at intersections that you're supposed to stop for.

If you're in the act of passing someone, and you're going 15 over you're breaking the law. If you're refusing to break the law by a more severe magnitude (I would consider this to be measured [speed/limit] to account for possibly worse driving conditions in a low-speed area) to yield to some asshole who is not only speeding, but tailgating you, I can't see any fault there.

Passing is passing, you get right when you have a chance, it's not like this is Daytona and you cut people off.
