how did your 30s go? what are you looking forward to in your 40s?

My 30s were overall pretty great! Got married, various career changes, mostly happy things. My younger brother died when I was 39 though, so that’s still hard. Neither of us has a great relationship with our parents, but we had each other. I thought we’d both at least make it to 40.

Also got the guy that sexually abused me and other women from the downtown Raleigh community convicted. It feels a little like an albatross in that if someone googles him my name is right there too with what he did to me, but it’s worth it to know it’s harder for him to go under the radar for the next woman (or employer).

As for my 40s, I’m feeling pretty positive!
