you watch the pitt game on tv and you buy a ticket to the GW game. if you work it out any other way your GW ticket ends up coming out free after instant savings under my plan. Kind of like how the new healthcare bill will decrease the deficit. 9/16/2009 10:40:41 PM |

GW will be over at the half. Pitt should be a good game.

pitt being more of a threat is all the more reason to prefer that game on tv and GW live if given the option of one or the other. 9/16/2009 11:47:06 PM |

but you have to be the only one that would prefer paying to watch a game on a computer as opposed to watching in hd for free. (assuming you have hd and air resistance is negligible) 9/17/2009 12:21:31 AM |

i'm simply saying some people prefer going to games and the whole atmosphere of tailgating and getting loud and everything...kinda like what i did before the panthers fail last weekend
others prefer sitting in their living rooms watching it in high definition with a central heating and air system adjusted to their preference with a clean, non-crowded bathroom, and a cheaper refrigerator of your favorite icy beverage and or smoking preference
the reason i'm not going to the game is because i have to pick somebody up from the airport in charlotte earlier saturday afternoon and i'm not a student anymore...i'll order it because i want to see my team play
and i'll be watching the Pitt game on ESPNUHD for "free"] 9/17/2009 12:27:19 AM |

If you read the stipulation it was all assuming you could only go to one of the two games so that nullifies your last post. It was a sound point and made perfect sense but just not in the context of this discussion.
btw murray (last weekend) were the racers. pitt is the panthers 9/17/2009 12:34:02 AM |

Nice. I wonder who the 3 teams ahead of us nationally are, but I also don't feel like looking it up.
Nvm, looked it up anyway: 1. Arizona St. 2. Louisville 3. Tenn 4. NC State

sounds like an excellent candidate for the noon Raycom game
but it might not even warrant that status
seeing as how UNC/GT is in that slot this weekend, shockingly some might say9/17/2009 9:41:58 AM |

Good for Bowens. He's a good guy that had some crap luck the past year or so.

I just don't want Morgan or Bowen to risk anything, I would rather them take it easy this week and save it for the Pitt game, then chance aggrevating anything again... nonetheless if TOB says they are ready, I am confident in his call, and look forward to seeing them out there 9/18/2009 2:18:30 PM |

bullshit
you can't just say "oh bowens is healthy" and throw him out against Pitt
let him get a touchdown or two against GW first 9/18/2009 2:23:56 PM |

I can understand that for Morgan, but Bowens hasn't played football since 2007 and probably needs a tuneup game more than anyone...he's not going to come out of the gate at 100% whether it's against GW or Pitt so you might as well let him readjust to the game against an inferior opponent rather than throwing him to the wolves against Pitt.

Exactly. You need some real game experience to get back in the flow of things -- especially Bowens. You see players try to come back from injuries all the time and not be as effective initially. It's because they've got to readapt to the speed of the game. I remember when Nate came back against Duke last year, he didn't make hardly any plays. The next game against Wake, he was a beast. It takes time.

yeah the best thing for Bowens confidence going into the Pitt game would be to get a catch early in the GW game, get rocked by a safety, and get right back up...he'll get some confidence that he can take hits and tackles and be alright...then get his mojo going throughout the rest of the game 9/18/2009 2:34:36 PM |

Does anyone happen to know if there are bathrooms in the West Chase Lot behind the office buildings on Blue Ridge? I am trying to decide whether to use my pass there or park in the free lot and walk to the student lot. 9/18/2009 3:31:22 PM |

What do yall think is the best place to park for free if you want to walk to the Student Lot? I've got a friend coming in from outta town and she can't get here till 3:30, needless to say I'll be tailgating by then. So she needs some where she can park and walk to my tailgate. Any ideas? 9/18/2009 3:44:50 PM |

Running back prospect James White will be visiting State during the game. He has a pretty stout offer list.
Schools Interested Clemson Iowa Michigan State North Carolina State Purdue South Florida Wisconsin Boston College Indiana Louisville Minnesota Rutgers Syracuse Tulane
Michigan, Pitt, and UCF also recruited him.
Actually I don't know for sure if he's visiting us or not. The other site shows him visiting Iowa this weekend. Weird. Either way he'd be a good pickup at RB. 9/19/2009 2:18:12 AM |

I'm gonna shell out the money for the Pitt game next weekend, but I can't justify that for Gardner-Webb. I doubt much groundbreaking stuff will happen, short of some catastrophic injury (knock on wood). 9/19/2009 9:34:55 AM |
