i love that they keep having crazy secondary characters. I didn't expect to see Vaugh much any more, but he was hilarious this week.

It was hilarious when Pierce called Britta a GDB during the Britta is a B song.

Annie should let here hair down more often.

Not in a personality sense, I mean she looks even hotter that way.

Glad they went back to an Abed/Troy end. Props for having Zaboo from The Guild.

agreed 10 times about Annie.

I seriously need more Abed in the show. I feel like they're worried he's going to steal it so they limit the writing involving him. I guess there's just too many characters and they all are more important to the plot individually than the rest of the cast of the Office.

my girlfriend pointed that out in the first scene of the show. i had no clue what she was talking about because my eyes were immediately focused on brita. didn't even notice the reclusive brown haired girl. but by episode 2 i realized what she meant.

i then felt bad for shushing her and disregarding anything further she had to say that first evening.

I thought this might have been the flattest, worst episode of the season.

Still OK, but the montage at the end didn't really resonate like they wanted it to.

(I could just be getting very, very tired of Ken Jeong)

"oh no, there's a problem"

"it's ok, Jeff will help"

"I dunno, I don't care enough about you people/this place, but there might be something in it for me...."

(at first it looks like its going to work, and then, UH OH, a problem, but wait, Jeff decides he really wants things go to well)

"gee guys, I sure am glad Jeff is around, we're all better because of him"

"see Britta, I'm not so bad"

well, so far it's a funny formula. And Jeff may be the main character, but he's not the star of the show. It's the rest of the study group and the teachers that really make the show.

I don't know about that, especially considering that The Office is doing another storyline about the financial woes of Dunder Mifflin which they have done a number of times already on the show...and you know that the company is going to come out of it OK since there wouldn't be much of a show left if the branch closed.

I can forgive a comedy for a lot of it's faults if it brings the funny, which as far as I'm concerned Community has been doing more consistently than The Office this season.

community is formulaic but they've acknowledged it and made fun of themselves for it in subtle and not so sublte ways multiple times already so i don't find this too concerning.

I'm going with "jewish" because they kept saying "a jew" which would (i assume) be more offensive.

now, she's just requesting people say "jewish" instead of "a jew".

It had never occurred to me what religion the characters were (except for Shirley, who is obviously Christian), but I thought they did a great job of "assigning" religions to all the characters. After they went around and said what they were, each of them made complete sense and were perfect matches

If this show continues in this direction, it could become one of my all-time favorites.

The cameos were perfect. They turned comments like this:
Quote :
"^i think its just a guest stint. I hope"

into the punchline. Brilliant.
