Took me a week playing a little bit at a time to beat it but I did it last night.

Pretty sweet game all in all. Looked at my stats and it took me I think 10 hours playing time to beat it but I only found 19 treasures. I wasn't really looking for them.

Has anyone played multiplayer online?

^I started to play multiplayer although I had already played it during beta. But I'm waiting for Shrike to hurry up and beat the game so we can play online together haha.

Just bought it yesterday from a TWWer and decided to put it in really quick before bed just to check it out. Ended up being an hour. Tired today but totally worth it.

Haha , i already did beat it! Pretty amazing game from start to finish. After playing MGS4, I never thought another game would top it in presentation, but UC2 managed to do that and more. The best thing I can say about is that, in most games, the really "epic" and memorable moments occur during cutscenes or other non-interactive sequences. In UC2, you were fully in control of the character during all the big moments. That put its up there with some of the best action games ever, and is the best I've played since Half-Life 2.

just finished...clocked around 10 hours and didnt get many treasures but was a damn awesome game...now i need to level up on mp so i can get better skills...haha

i did get the 70+ shotgun kills trophy in that single fight, however

at chapter 20 now. Freakin' loving this game...they did a pretty good job balancing the platforming and combat.

chapter 23 was the castle where you had to follow them up to the top and the tank i think and all the soldiers fighting those beasts and had that puzzle with the earth/wind/fire, etc

Lazarevic is considerably harder on hard than normal

-throws grenades strategically in front of your current run path
-is constantly on your ass after the first "transition"
-3 hits from anything and you're done (shotgun, grenade, resin explosion)

i got to 1 or 2 hits from victory and he just disappears, and like warps in above my head and instagibs me

Going to restart this game over xmas as i played the first couple levels and then stopped playing video games for awhile. Looking forward to it as I LOVE these games.


but i bumped this thread to mention that Mark Wahlberg will be Nathan Drake in the Uncharted film adaption. thoughts?


also the film plot seems to have zero relevance to the games.

Wahlberg is a terrible fucking choice, that movie is guaranteed to be shit now. Uncharted 3 is going to be amazing of course, although it will be really tough for them to top UC2 the same way it topped the first one.

we will never get a good video game adaptation. they betlittle the average aged video game enthusiast by making every adaptation suited for young adolescents. Prince of Persia was not guilty of this but it just sucked all across the board. If they had just stuck with the story in the first game it would have been decent.

i understand casting wahlberg. it's like "holy shit, mark wahlberg wants to do our movie!?! he's in" regardless of whether or not he's a fit for the character.

it's sort of like tom hanks in the da vinci code / angels and demons. he's a great actor who brings a lot of star power, but a terrible choice for robert langdon.

regardless, i'm sure the movie will suck like every other video game movie so it's all moot anyway.

I don't get all the bitching about Mark Wahlberg. Nathan Drake isn't that deep and Wahlberg can handle it easily. The director, budget, and script matter a lot more IMO.
